BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for a “dynamic, results driven” individual to join as Change Implementation Intern at our new production plant in Viana, Portugal.
Key Accountabilities
1. Support in monitoring one of the critical processes in the manufacture of automotive components, managing the introduction of changes or 'Change Request / Change Implementation'
2. Support in the creation, updating, simplification, monitoring and improvement of existing processes, with close monitoring and direct involvement with multi-functional teams from product development to production
3. Support training actions within the functional area
4. Support functional development activities within a production unit in the beginning of accelerated growth (e.g. functional benchmarking).
5. Comply with environmental, health and safety, quality and productivity standards
6. Comply with the organization's rules and internal regulations Code of Ethics, Practice and Schedule
7. Respect workplace safety and cleanliness rules
8. Respect and comply with environmental policy rules
9. Perform other tasks not included in the activity for which he was hired, when the needs or convenience of the service justify it, for the period necessary for the said needs or conveniences of service
Education & Experience
1. Degree in Industrial Engineering and Management or similar field
2. Knowledge in Technical area (preferable)
3. Good Communication skills with all levels of the organization
4. Good organization skills
5. Strong skills in Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint
6. Fluent in English (verbal and written), others language is a strong plus
7. Fluent in Portuguese
