The Commercial Business Analyst is part of one of the following Finance areas: Wholesale Business Control and works in close cooperation with his stakeholder(s) outside of Finance.
Commercial Business Analyst operates at the local level and reports to the Wholesale Business Controller Manager.

Your Responsibilities: Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas of improvement.Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.Ensure finance involvement in the S&OP process to secure a cross-functional perspective and alignment with the various rolling forecasts.Provide business insights on business performance to support decision-making.Proactively work with relevant management team(s) to identify, analyze, and exploit business opportunities (e.g., new product development, cost-saving opportunities), intervene on fundamental issues, and provide financial leadership on strategic projects. To do so, the job holder has a high level of business understanding and builds and maintains relationships with relevant stakeholders.Act as a liaison between the finance department and sales teams, acting as a business partner to sales on a day-to-day basis.Be able to convince stakeholders based on the right facts and arguments, which are placed in the proper problem context.Drive effective collaboration with HGSS to achieve further process improvements at optimal costs.Support the business planning cycle for the 1 to 3-year Strategic annual plans, operational plans, and Latest Estimates including providing relevant challenge to relevant stakeholders.Define and challenge the requirements for standard management reporting, further development of the Management Information System, and liaise with information services to communicate identified requirements.Work with the relevant team to devise a functional policy/investments/dis-investments.Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, simplifying, benchmarking, and innovation.Challenge existing processes to identify improvement opportunities using benchmarks and external best practices.Quantify financial benefits and costs associated with improvement ideas. Analyze the impact of changes on processes and ways of working.Assist in implementing process improvements.Evaluate the success of the improvement projects and the benefits realized.We want you to bring: Degree and/or Master's in management, Economics, Accounting.Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Business Controller or Accounting in a multinational or FMCG.Knowledge on reporting & Accounting.Good understanding of the business processes.Knowledge of On Trade European Market.Knowledge of Sales Market.Ability to act as an independent and challenging business partner.Fluent in Portuguese.Resilience.Project Management Skills.Strong Analytical skills and attention to detail.Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, SAP.Hold the legal documents required for the provision of subordinate labour in Portugal at the time of application (exclusion factor).
