Mission of the Role: Experienced technical leader adept at leading strategic program management, who drives complex sub-projects – Hardware - throughout the program lifecycle, ensuring successful execution, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction. This role works with the larger team to surpass customer expectations in cost, quality, and delivery on sub-project while meeting financial objectives. Lead specific Hardware scope (sub-project) within a larger multidisciplinary project with a Program Management mindset having the responsibility to successfully deliver acting as main Customer interface.
Key Objectives of this Role:
1. Develop and maintain control over all the PM elements of its sub-project, e.g.;
2. High Timing plan & Strategy to meet the defined Visteon and Customer milestones;
3. VPDS Process Compliance, e.g., Gate Deliverables, PAD, Vistway, ASPICE, APQP and customer deviation
approval;
4. RIOs, Defects, Quality indicators & Escalations;
5. Budget and Staff Planning;
6. Any other sub-project-specific element;
7. Cross-functional dependencies and Dynamic prioritization (like TDRs);
8. Represents and explains to customers specific technical problems in the swim lane he presents;
9. Requirements compliance and test coverage;
10. Field Issues resolution and post-launch support;
11. Quality (product, deliverables, and processes).
Key Accountabilities:
12. Program Execution and Monitoring: Lead & drive program execution monitoring progress, and track internal & external milestones, to ensure timely delivery, cost optimization, & quality outcomes including VPDS process compliance and adherence at the swim lane level. Provides Hardware leadership to program teams promoting effective decision-making, Cross-functional dependencies resolution on priority, conducting the required, provides the required attention and support in procuring the Program specific infrastructure well in advance, driving requirements compliance and test coverage, leading structured approach to problem-solving and triggering preventive actions at the program level. Budget and staff tracking.
13. Customer Focus: Proactively building and maintaining strong relationships with Customers and Cross-Functional stakeholders as the primary contact for end-to-end program-related activities, using impactful communication across different functions. Be the primary contact for the Customer. Represents and explains to customers specific technical problems in the swim lane w/o much support needed from each skill. Supports the team in getting the formal customer alignment and deviation approval and documents it at the Program level.
14. Change Management: Managing program changes and scope creep by effectively evaluating and communicating the impacts of changes on timelines, resources, and costs with all cross-functional stakeholders.
15. Risk Management: Identifying, assessing, and mitigating program risks to minimize their impact on project timelines, budgets, and deliverables. Managing escalations (internal & external)
16. Innovation and Technology Adoption: Identifying and evaluating emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends, associated risks implications early enough and supports each skill to mitigate early enough to enhance program management effectiveness and efficiency.

22. Track and Resolve Project Engineering Open Issues;
23. Project Engineering Reviews;
24. Track and Resolve Target Objectives (Customer Compliance Matrix, agreed Maturity Level);
25. PCB Fabrication and Assembly Planning and tracking;
26. DVP&R;
27. Problem Solving / 8D Response;
28. Support on Warranty;
29. Process Qualification;
30. Drive work item status update in the central planning database (eP, JIRA);
31. Field Issues resolution and post-launch support;
32. Program Budget;
33. Swimlane Program Timeline based on the Skills Implementation Plan;
34. Material approval.
Qualification, Experience and Skills:
35. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical area;
36. Several years of professional experience in program & project management, including at least six years in the automotive industry;
37. Experience in leading bigger development teams located in different countries;
38. Know-how in project management (ideally PRINCE / PMP);
39. Excellent understanding of development and production processes within the automotive industry, with experience in Hardware Design and Testing;
40. Leadership, entrepreneurial thinking, and assertiveness;
41. High level of autonomy and accountability;
42. Strong project management discipline – Planning & Execution, Communication, Strategy;
43. Strong communication skills, high customer orientation, and team spirit;
44. Analytical-structured expertise;
45. Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Project + JIRA;
46. Fluent in English.
