Are you a technically skilled Global Product Manager with a sales mindset?
We are looking for a Global Product Manager for our Shrink Fabrics to join our Tampere office. The Fabrics Filtration Technology Unit supplies filter fabrics and filtration expertise to our global customers in the Pulp & Paper industry.
As a product manager, you will be responsible for driving the sales of our filtration products to the Pulp & Paper industry. You will work in close and active cooperation with our customers and partners. You will also be actively involved in product development. Active product portfolio management is one of your tools to ensure profitability. You are also motivated to develop our sales processes.
What will you do at Valmet?
* Own your product group
* Support the sales of filtration products
* Manage the global budget and sales responsibility for the product line
* Develop our business together with our global sales teams
* Travel and visit customers actively and support visits to different sales teams when needed
* Maintain close and active cooperation with our business partners
* Support and oversee global sales teams in a global manager role
* Ensure and maintain a good product portfolio for the product line
* Work closely with our R&D
* Maintain global sales forecasts together with global production planning
* Be responsible for maintaining annual contracts
Who is the professional we are looking for?
You are a result and sales-oriented, customer-focused team player who can turn customers' needs and opportunities into sales. You know how to build and cherish long-term customer relations and are good at networking with both internal and external partners. You are able to work and make decisions independently and are willing to travel regularly (50 – 100 days/year).
* Deep understanding of textiles and P&P filtration applications is a must.
* Experience in related sales support globally is very beneficial.
* You hold a technical (M.Sc. or B.Sc.) degree in the related P&P textile industry and have senior-level experience in related tasks.
* You have fluent language skills in English and Finnish (both written and verbal).
