Available Shifts: ALL SCHEDULES AVAILABLE!10am to 10pm or 9am to 9pmJob Responsibilities & Duties: Assist with daily living activities. This includes delivering meals to patients, turning and ambulating patients and providing plenty of fresh water, as well as extra nourishment between meals.Help patients with personal hygiene.Provide patients with bedpans, help with baths, shampoos and showers.Provide adjunct care for the patient, including ice packs, non-sterile dressings and therapeutic baths.Check vital signs and record daily information in the patient's chart.Assist the nurses and other staff as needed.Adhere to professional standards, follow the policies and procedures and abide by federal, state and local requirements.Observe patients' conditions, measuring and recording food and liquid intake and output and vital signs, and report changes to the charge / staff nurse as soon as possible.Minimum Qualifications: Ability to successfully pass ADPS Fingerprint Background Screening and Drug Test.Active, Non-Probationary Arizona CNA License.Active BLS Certification.Ability to Move / Lift A Minimum of 100 Pounds.Ability to Speak, Read, and Write English.Preferred Qualifications: One Year CNA Experience.One Year Skilled Nursing Facility Experience.Benefits & Pay: Holiday Pay.Daily Pay.401k matching.Sandstone of Tucson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
Additional Minimum Qualifications: Ability to read and write using clinical terms.Must have extremely proficient communication and documentation skills.Highly organized with the ability to efficiently manage their time to complete multiple tasks.Basic understanding of computer technology, including email use and navigating community resources.Must be able to relate positively and favorably to residents and families and to work cooperatively with other associates and personnel of other community agencies.Must have knowledge of State and Federal guidelines.Must have demonstrated skills in communication, documentation, assessment and social work methods techniques.Must maintain regular attendance.Must meet all local health regulations and pass post-employment physical exam if required. This requirement also includes drug screening, criminal background investigation, and reference inquiry.
