As Front Office Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our front office, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and memorable experience for each guest. This role requires a proactive leader with excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality and detail. The selected candidate will be fundamental in promoting a team-oriented atmosphere, maintaining the standards of excellence in the service provided to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee check-in/check-out procedures, ensuring all guest interactions are handled with the utmost care and professionalism.
* Resolve guest issues promptly and effectively, maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction.
* Manage and mentor front office staff, providing training, support, and performance evaluations.
* Develop and implement strategies to enhance team performance and operational efficiency.
* Coordinate daily front office operations including reservation management, billing, and communication with other departments.
* Ensure compliance with all company policies and local regulations.
* Monitor budgets, manage inventory, and prepare regular reports on front office performance.
* Assist in developing and refining operational procedures to maximize productivity and service quality.
* Act as the primary point of contact for guest inquiries and special requests, ensuring each interaction enhances our brand reputation.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences from arrival to departure.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in a front office or hospitality management role, preferably within a luxury or boutique setting.
* Strong leadership and team-building skills with a track record of fostering a positive work environment.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, both in English and Portuguese.
* Proficiency in hotel management software and a solid understanding of reservation systems.
* A passion for customer service with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
