You will be responsible for the business development of cutting-edge ABB PLCs and Variable Speed Drives in Serial Drives Business on the Spanish Center & South Region. Reporting to the Serial Sales Manager, you will use your experience and drive to build long-standing customer relationships, identifying effective solutions for customer needs.

Your responsibilities
1. Hunting new customers on Strategic Channels (OEMs, System Integrators and Automation partners), and growing in Industry, directly or through Technical Distributors.
2. Leading to develop new applications to contribute to reach the budget of the sales region across the PLCs and Drives portfolio.
3. Establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships through excellent service and your knowledge of customer needs and ABB solutions.
4. Preparing sales plans and bids, with marketing and other departments, ensuring technical and financial accuracy.
5. Contributing to the identification and development of new market opportunities in collaboration with the wider Sales team.
6. Monitoring customer and market trends to develop effective marketing activities in collaboration with the Marketing team.
Your background
1. An engineering degree in electronics, automation or electrics.
2. More than 3 years of experience in Business Development and new Applications. Experience in South Market will be well considered.
3. Sound knowledge of PLC, HMI and Variable Speed Drives.
4. Experience in high performance applications (cranes, winches, winders, mills, extruders, process lines, test benches, etc).
5. Knowledge in PLC programming.
6. Self-learning skills and focus on new applications.
7. Medium-high command of English.
8. Experience on Industry 4.0 needs and Digitalization and motivation for new technologies would be an added value for the candidate.
9. Available to travel at least 3 days each week, for visiting customers in the South Region under his responsibility.
10. Highly fluent in Spanish and fluent in English.
11. Current car license valid in Spain.
12. A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach with strong communication and customer relationship-building skills.
