As the Total Rewards Analyst, you will be responsible for evaluating and maintaining Talkdesk's pay structure with a focus on managing the Portugal benefits programs including uploading compensation changes in Workday, preparing the annual merit review process, managing the Portugal Flex program, reviewing benefits invoices, and assisting with employee questions.
This role will have exposure to both compensation and benefits, however, this position has a greater focus on benefits.
Duties and Responsibilities: Benefits (80% of time) Partner with our benefits broker to maintain accurate recordkeeping, including employee benefits enrollments, qualifying life events, and contact information on a weekly basisAudit benefits invoices to ensure accurate and timely payment processing and send proof of payment to our partnersEstablish and maintain strong relationships with local vendors, brokers, and benefits partnersManage annual health insurance renewalsAdminister medical, work, life and accident insurance in addition to the flex platform under Aon's "The Benefits Solution (TBS)"Run the Portugal Flex benefits program for 400+ employeesPartner with Finance on monthly funding and reconciliation processesEmployee Flex onboarding and presentation to new hiresPrepare and send the monthly Flex file to our providerReview, approve and process all necessary updates to employee Flex accountsSupport all Flex requests from employees, partnering with our provider to ensure all employee questions are answered quickly and thoroughlyEmployee Flex off-boardingRun and analyze Flex benefit trend reports, identifying usage trends and patternsCompensation (20% of role): Upload variable pay (e.g.
bonuses, commission) in our HRIS, WorkdayParticipate in the annual compensation review process in WorkdayAnalyze compensation trends in the tech industry, including salary benchmarking and compensation structure designAdminister and maintain compensation programs, including job evaluation and salary surveys participationSupport employee inquiries, via email, Slack and JIRA ticketsRequirements: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field; minimum of 3 years of Portugal benefits experience preferably in the technology industry or multinational environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite; experience with Workday or similar HR platforms is a plusExperience with Portugal benefits (Flex) required, global experience a plusExperience with managing vendor relationships and benefit brokersExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across different locations and culturesDetail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and compliance in compensation and benefits administrationProven ability to work independently in a remote setting while effectively managing priorities and meeting deadlinesKnowledge of various countries' labor laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits is desirableFlexible and adaptable attitude with a passion for driving continuous improvement and innovation in HR practicesWork Environment and Physical Requirements: Primarily office-environment work, extended periods of sitting or standing, computer-based work.
