The CF R 2 WEA ESPRIT Competency Center combines the experience and best practice of Corporate (CF R 2), Operational (CF R WEA) and Technology (IT APD CFS) to ensure the process and content related guidance for preparing the Siemens consolidated financial statements, the financial planning and reporting in time and quality.
We work with key stakeholders on change needs resolving cross process and end-to-end business process issues. By Interlinking the Hub Accounting and Closing activities with the IT setup we influence decisively the future process and solution design in the sense of new business requirements and process digitalization
Key responsibilities:
Provide guidance to legal entities on technical accounting issues such as revenue recognition, restructuring, consolidations and mergers and acquisitions.
Ensure compliance of reporting in accordance with IFRS and Siemens Guidelines within the critical closing timeframe.
Ensure correct processing of late adjustments and posting of consolidation entries
"Guide and perform timely review and analysis of financial information submitted by Siemens legal entities of the Hub WEA for the monthly and quarterly reporting requirements as indicated by the worldwide parent company, Siemens AG."
Interfaces with central HQs and the Hub WEA companies for the local rollout of Corporate Finance Processes
Drive standardization and increase efficiency of financial processes within the CF R 2 1 1 team
Providing documentation and ad-hoc training, e.g. to Hub accounting
Contributing to the Statutory Reporting of the Siemens Group.
Representing the CF R 2 Governance
Supporting Digitalization of Processes
What do you need to qualify for this job?
Knowledge and Experiences
University Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or equivalent
More than 3 years in an Accounting Role, Audit or similar
· More than 5 years working experience within Siemens
Fluent in English (mother tong is valued) and, at least, one more additional language (Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, French, German)
Deep working knowledge of SAP tools
Good MS Office knowledge, of which experience with Excel and Power Point is mandatory
Experience in Business Intelligence (Tableau or SAP analytic cloud) is valued
Experience in Accounting Projects
