Accounts Payable Specialist (m/f/d)
(Temporary Position - Sick Leave Cover)
As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you'll play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and payments
Your opportunity:
1. Handling the full accounts payable process with efficiency and attention to detail
2. Verifying invoice amounts, payment terms, and applicable sales tax
3. Ensuring correct coding of down payments and invoices to general ledger accounts
4. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date vendor records
5. Communicating with vendors to resolve discrepancies, confirm payments, and secure available cash discounts
6. Investigating and resolving outstanding balances via phone, email, or mail
7. Collaborating with global production sites and corporate teams
Your Profile:
8. A university degree in Management, Accounting, or Finance, or relevant experience in a similar role
9. Fluency in English and German (mandatory) ; additional language skills in Polish, French, Portuguese, or Italian are a plus
10. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
11. A professional, collaborative, and solution-focused attitude in interactions with internal and external stakeholders
12. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through independently
13. Ability to thrive both as an individual contributor and as part of a team
14. Prior experience with SAP is a strong advantage
