**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic-minded DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and testing functional systems to meet and exceed our customers' needs and expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, build, and test functional systems to meet customer needs
* Manage multi-site production infrastructure, including design, deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and security
* Establish designs, configurations, and procedures for system and storage administration
* Respond rapidly to identify and resolve applications and infrastructure-related faults
* Work with software developers to ensure development follows established processes and works as intended
* Ensure systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
* Contribute to the design, scope, and implementation of new solutions for upcoming projects
* Utilize intelligent monitoring to deliver visibility on all areas of the systems infrastructure (availability, utilization, and inventory)
* Provide tools to support data-driven decisions (Elastic Stack, Graphite, Grafana)
* Deliver highly available and reliable solutions (HAProxy, Keepalived)
* Optimize existing tools and processes
* Participate in an on-call rota to support out-of-hours emergency support and routine maintenance
Nice-to-Have:
* Good knowledge of Ruby or Python
* Administer Infrastructure services and OSS
