Founded in 2021, the Airbus Global Business Services (AGBS) unit will be contributing to Airbus’ global success and play a vital role in Airbus’ transformation journey in standardisation, harmonisation, digitalisation and automation of end-to-end processes (e.g. Procure to Pay) of all overhead functions. Responsibilities:
The Procurement Sustainability Officer will:
1. Provide permanent guidance, advise and support to Procurement employees & at supplier.
2. Cascade information via directives & guidelines.
3. Ensure that all requirements are integrated into processes, tools & competences.
4. Develop and coordinate the network.
5. Evaluate, assess performance.
6. Conduct investigation when sustainability risk is identified.
7. Anticipate, monitor risks & put in place corrective & improvement actions.
8. Support directly the Management in case of specific issues and/or in cases of infringement.
9. Develop and maintain the relevant training programme (training, information…).
Responsibilities - your mission:
The mission of the position is to manage the Procurement Compliance, Regulations & Risks (TOPR) activities related to CDX IT solution deployment and run mode management in the Supply Chain of Airbus Defence and Space. The successful candidate will manage the register of regulation impacted articles to enable Airbus Defence and Space compliance. The CDX project shall ensure compliance with environmental regulations like REACH and drive procurement to a greener operation.
Essential Functions:
1. Act as procurement main focal point in the deployment and run mode phase for supplier compliance data collection.
2. Improve/design/align the procurement strategy for the data collection used within the supply chain.
3. Integrate/animate a multi-stakeholder network to reach targets.
4. Contribute to Airbus Sustainable ambition for a greener operation.
5. Coordinate the tasks related to the data collection within procurement to ensure smooth transitions from current manual process to new automatized solution.
6. Manage procurement data check related to the Article 33 declaration in the scope of the REACH regulation.
7. Identify and track legally impacted item across the deliveries and inform the relevant stakeholders appropriately.
8. Report and communicate regularly the status related to the Article 33 declaration in the scope of the REACH regulation.
9. Support the definition of procurement (negotiation) strategies for regulatory data collection.
10. Support and guide procurement to a better integration of the data collection into the business.
11. Coordinate the involvement of suppliers in our digitalization roadmap.
12. Support the project procurement function representative to achieve division and group targets.
13. Ensure the necessary involvement of the stakeholders to guarantee the success of the implemented solution.
Requirements - our ideal candidate will have:
1. Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in engineering or business administration.
2. Experience in the aerospace / chemical sector would be a plus.
3. Experience in project management would be a plus.
4. Experience of Airbus Defence and Space organization would be a plus.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
6. Ability to influence and convince is required.
7. High level of motivation to lead complex projects.
8. Strong analytic skills and ability to understand and structure large datasets.
9. Strong skills and ability to simplify complex issues and concepts.
10. Strong Excel skills (experience in Google Sheets would be a plus).
11. Team spirit and able to work in a dynamic environment.
12. English: Negotiation level.
13. French and/or German and/or Spanish would be a plus.
