Job Description
We are seeking an IT Operations Project Manager to join our team at Airbus GBS.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure the provisioning of new software packages and upgrades.
* Maintain the infrastructure in operational condition in line with OLA/SLAs.
* Monitor and track system performance against negotiated service-level agreements (SLAs).
* Communicate improvement, updates and obsolescence management of products to the IT Product Manager.
* Perform ITIL based support processes including incident, problem, change, configuration, and event management.
* Analyze console messages, diagnose system failures and take corrective action to ensure continuity of operations. Escalate to other technical teams and vendors as needed.
* Supervise system backup processing and lead disaster recovery tests. Identify and implement technologies and processes that improve the reliability, efficiency and availability of the systems environment.
Requirements:
* Experience in IT service management with a focus on service design, transition, and operation.
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Familiarity with the ITIL framework and best practices.
* Experience in defining and managing service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Fluent English is mandatory.
