Within the Purchasing Quality Assurance team, you are responsible for closely monitoring part of our supplier base's quality performance, and have a key role in defending the quality interests of Bosch Home Comfort production site at Aveiro, namely in:
Initiating and driving end-to-end problem-solving activities with our global supplier base in case of quality incidents with purchased parts (Claim management).Operational support in containment actions, analyzing and discussing NCR reports with suppliers through problem-solving methods, and initiating cost reimbursement processes.Cross-functional collaboration with the plant quality team, production, R&D teams, and of course our suppliers, in problem-solving activities when needed.Acting as the interface between the supplier and the Value Stream, as the key account for quality matters with the supplier.Supporting quality risk management and concession processes.Supporting the implementation of Purchasing Quality Strategy ensuring internal customer satisfaction.Working with international suppliers and global teams.Educational background: Completed university studies in engineering (mechanical or electrical, preferably), or relevant technical degree;
Experience: 1-2 years of professional experience in quality functions, and very good communication skills to allow efficient communication with the global supplier base and experts network;
Know-how: Problem-solving tools, MS Office, and SAP. Metrology and CAD reading know-how is a plus;
Work-Style: Structured and analytical way of working, good cross-functional collaboration, problem solver, and quality mindset;
Personality: Open to learning, creative, initiative to find solutions, and able to keep calm under stormy waters;
Languages: Good written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and English.
