Position Overview:
We're expanding our application security team and are looking for someone with Java and Python experience. You'll focus on a subset of our products to understand them deeply and help development teams build products that are secure by design.
What you will do:
You'll support product teams through activities such as:
Defining requirements for security featuresProactively identifying and controlling risks using techniques like threat modelingDesigning and implementing automated security testsPerforming manual security assessments including code reviewsCoordinating vulnerability response efforts
Every day, you'll be working with dev teams who are distributed around the world, so strong skills in written communication and programming are essential. You'll have the support of your manager in prioritizing goals, and the autonomy to determine how best to accomplish tasks.
What you will need: Experience in cyber security engineering role. This MUST include a combination of at least 3+ years in an Application Security role AND 5+ years of experience in a combination of development and security roles (typically 8+ years combined)Backend development experience with Java or Python.Backend development experience with classic .NET Framework and modern .NET is a bonus.Frontend development with at least one JavaScript frameworkTest design - Unit tests and end-to-end tests both automated and manualA proven history of turning SCA / SAST / DAST results into teachable momentsApplication penetration testing experience is a bonus.Fluency in English What you'll gain at Intapp:
