Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Purchasing and Procurement Assistant to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will assist in managing the organization's procurement processes, supporting the efficient, cost-effective sourcing of goods and services in line with company policies and standards.
This role involves negotiating with suppliers, managing vendor relationships, and coordinating with various international regional subsidiaries to meet the company's operational needs.
This position is based in the city of Maia in Portugal.
Job ResponsibilitiesStock management and identification of purchasing needs;Analyze commercials – monitoring and reporting on margins and profitability of purchased products;Periodically reviewing product quality and commercial terms (price, payment and credit conditions) to grow the supplier relationship or stop it;Request preliminary quotes;Negotiation and purchasing with national and international suppliers;Create purchase orders;Check received goods - perform a quality control check on the goods to verify they are correct to specification;Foster the relationship by maintaining regular reviews and ongoing communication with the procurement team to establish a mutually beneficial partnership with the supplier.Must HaveBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field;Strong negotiation and contract management skills;Knowledge in procurement software and tools;Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards in procurement;Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Nice to HaveExperience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management;Experience in Hospitality;Technology purchasing experience;Additional languages.What's great in the job?Great team of smart people, in a friendly and open culture;Real responsibilities and autonomy;Expand your knowledge of various countries and regions;Great career opportunity in a fast-evolving Technology company;Contribute to the greater experience of millions of Travelers around the World!A full-time position
