About the Role
As Head of Marketing & Communication, you will lead and oversee all aspects of Minga London's communication strategy and brand positioning. Your focus will include managing the marketing calendar, PR & influencer marketing, social media, email marketing, collaborations, and events.
Key Responsibilities
1. Brand Leadership
o Develop and oversee Minga's brand identity, vision, and strategy to ensure relevance and alignment with business goals.
o Lead and supervise all communication efforts, including PR, influencer marketing, social media, email marketing, and brand collaborations.
2. Marketing Calendar Management
Create and manage a detailed marketing calendar to organize product launches, campaigns, and seasonal promotions.
3. PR & Influencer Marketing
Work with key personalities and influencers who align with Minga's brand to boost visibility and strengthen our positioning. Develop creative influencer campaigns and long-term partnerships to amplify the brand's reach and impact across key markets.
4. Social Media
Develop and execute a cutting-edge social media strategy that engages and grows our community across all platforms. Oversee content creation, scheduling, and analytics.
5. Email Marketing
Plan and execute email campaigns, focusing on driving sales, increasing customer retention, and building brand loyalty.
6. Collaborations & Events
Identify and execute brand partnerships, including co-branding opportunities, collaborations with artists, and licensing that resonate with Minga's identity. Plan and deliver events and activations, including guerrilla marketing and IRL experiences, in key markets such as the US, UK, Europe, and Asia, to engage with our audience and elevate brand visibility.
7. Creative Campaigns
Work with the creative team to develop campaigns that capture Minga's bold and unique voice. Ensure campaigns reflect the brand's values and vision.
8. Strategic Planning
o Develop and implement a multi-territory strategy for key markets, including the UK, USA, Europe, and Asia.
o Plan and execute creative campaigns to increase customer engagement and brand visibility.
o Manage the marketing budget to ensure efficient allocation and maximum impact.
9. Execution & Analysis
o Monitor campaign performance and track KPIs, providing reports and insights to continuously improve strategies.
o Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure the seamless execution of campaigns and marketing initiatives.
10. Team Leadership
o Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team.
o Foster a culture of creativity, innovation, and excellence within the team.
Requirements
* Experience in similar roles within brand marketing, particularly in direct-to-consumer e-commerce brands (fashion or apparel preferred).
* Strong expertise in brand marketing, with a focus on pop culture, street style fashion, and digital trends.
* Proven success in managing PR, influencer marketing, social media, email marketing, and collaborations.
* Native-level fluency in English (a must, as communication is entirely in English).
* Strategic thinker with a results-oriented approach and a keen eye for detail.
