Role Description Skills:
Skilled Data Modeler to capture and document data models and related data architecture governance assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modeling, data governance, and enterprise data architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data models (semantic, conceptual, logical) for various data domains
- Develop and maintain data dictionaries, data catalogs, and metadata repositories
- Govern data assets through data quality, data security, and data privacy measures
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data requirements
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in data modeling, data governance, or related fields
- Strong understanding of data modeling techniques (e.g., Erwin, PowerDesigner)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a related field
- Experience with data governance tools and technologies (e.g., Collibra, Informatica)
- Certification in data governance or data management (e.g., CDP, CDO)
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git)
