Job Description
The Data Governance program is a key element of data management in the MN S business unit. The person in this position will be responsible for end-to-end coordination of all aspects related to the identification of data groups and elements, specification of data access policies, and implementation of Data Governance process digitalization.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
Key responsibilities for the Data Governance Program Manager position include:
* Perform program management activities for the Data Governance initiative.
* Identify data resources and build an inventory of Data Elements.
* Closely cooperate with respective stakeholders to identify data processing rules and requirements.
* Contribute to and coordinate the creation of a digitalization framework for the Data Governance program.
* Support cooperation between teams involved in the Data Governance program.
* Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve Nokia's data management processes and practices.
* Contribute to strategic decisions within the professional area.
* Solve complex problems based on sophisticated analytical thought and complex judgment.
* Contribute to the development of concepts to determine the professional direction of the organizational unit.
* Often lead projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and complexity, handling day-to-day staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work.
* Coordinate the work of teams involved in the implementation of the Data Governance program.
* Continuously monitor the Data Governance program implementation progression.
* Coordinate change management processes for the Data Governance program according to agreed quality KPIs.
Key Skills And Experience
Formal requirements:
* IT-oriented bachelor's degree.
* 5 years of experience in a project manager or program manager position.
* Good understanding of the Telco market and telecommunication data processing environment.
* Minimum 3 years of experience with Data Governance projects.
* Good understanding of common security, privacy, and compliance requirements related to the protection of data sets.
