The Record to Report (R2R) Senior Specialist will be responsible for day-to-day oversight of Manpower Group’s Record to Report function, supporting the execution of related subprocesses. This role will manage the adoption of, and adherence to, process designs and drive the GBS towards standardized solutions. The areas of responsibility will include General, Intercompany, Lease, Fixed Assets and Capital Projects Accounting, Financial, Statutory and Regulatory Reporting, with a focus on leading process improvement in these areas through standardization and automation. Additionally, the R2R Senior Specialist will work collaboratively with cross-functional Manpower Group teams, including key stakeholders at all levels within the regional organization. Must be meticulous, with strong interpersonal and influencing skills and the ability to visualize and articulate complex business and technical requirements.Key Contributions:GBS / CoE Set UpActively contribute to the development of an appropriately skilled R2R team by ensuring full training and work shadowing is completed for all team members.Work with each country to build positive, constructive relationships and work in partnership with each to drive an effective and smooth transition of R2R processes into the GBS / CoE.Support the transition team to ensure the successful migration of all R2R in-scope activities to GBS / CoE.Core Responsibilities:Serve as the functional Accountant of the R2R team.Responsible for the output and quality of services provided by the R2R Team to internal and external customers, including services provided by BPOs.Coach, and mentor R2R Analyst.Ensure compliance with the Service Partnership Agreement.Manage R2R Team performance through metrics and key performance indicators.Drive implementation of standard R2R processes and measurable improvements across the region by evaluating end-to-end process performance and advising on amendments where necessary.Partner with MPG business teams to identify and assess process gaps that negatively impact the customer experience, timeliness, or quality of provided services.Support managing escalation and exception processes within the GBS team.Monitor to ensure achievement of customer service requirements as defined by both formal Service Partnership Agreements as well as Customer Satisfaction surveys.Develop and recommend action plans to ensure targets are achieved or exceeded.Ensure that MPG policies are adhered to (e.g., approvals, guidelines, etc.).Assure that the appropriate internal control environment is maintained along with compliance with SOX requirements and relevant legal and regulatory requirements.Serve as primary point of contact for internal and external audit requests.Accountable training materials, SOPs and work instructions related to R2R processes and systems are developed, reviewed, updated, and approved on a regular basis.Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive understanding and support for R2R and Global Business Services.Work very closely with the BPO RTR Team in ensuring alignment and achievement of common goals.Encourage an environment within the R2R team focused on continuous improvement of R2R process efficiencies and customer service.Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization and drive change.Promote a culture focused on exceptional customer service.Technical Competencies:In-depth understanding of R2R leading practices.Expert-level understanding of the mechanics within the R2R process stream and how it fits into the end-to-end financial process environment.Knowledge of internal controls, segregation of duties and compliance best practices.Solid understanding of Record to Report concepts.
