Job Description
We seek a skilled IT Helpdesk Technician for a project based in Carcavelos.
Responsibilities
* Technical Support: Providing advanced troubleshooting and resolution for complex IT issues as an escalation point for Level 1 and Level 2 support teams.
* System Maintenance: Conducting routine maintenance of systems, including updates, patches, and backups, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
* User Support and Training: Offering hands-on support to end-users, resolving technical issues, and providing guidance on IT tools and resources.
* Mentorship and Team Leadership: Mentoring junior helpdesk technicians, leading by example in customer service, technical expertise, and adherence to IT processes.
* Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of support activities, resolutions, and system changes in the ITSM platform.
Requirements
* Technical Expertise: At least 1 year of experience in IT support roles, with strong understanding of operating systems, networking concepts, and cloud platforms.
* Cybersecurity Awareness: Working knowledge of endpoint protection tools, data security best practices, and security compliance frameworks.
* Soft Skills and Communication: Fluency in Portuguese and English, with effective communication skills and team leadership abilities.
Educational Background
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
* Equivalent experience will also be considered.
