MISSION:
To assist in providing a competent, effective and timely payroll and analytics function in our company.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Processes companies’ payroll monthly.
2. Maintains payroll processing system and record by gathering, calculating and inputting data.
3. Maintains administrative processes of admissions and dismissals in entities such as Social Security, Compensation Funds and ACT.
4. Computes employee pay based on time records, benefits and taxes.
5. Answers staff questions about wages, deductions, attendance and time records.
6. Adheres to payroll policies and procedures and complies with relevant law.
7. Honors confidentiality of employees’ records.
8. Completes payroll reports for internal record and managerial review regarding payroll, vacations, overtime and outsourcing/buy-out.
9. Completes other legal reports such as “Relatório Único” and “Folha de Férias.”
10. Completes legal reports to AT, Social Security and others.
Specific qualifications and skills:
1. Bachelor degree in HR, Administration or any related fields.
2. 1-3 years previous experience in the function.
3. Initiative and team spirit.
4. Attention to detail and high organizational capacity, sense of responsibility and rigor.
5. Ability to handle confidential information.
6. Analytical capacity skills.
7. Knowledge of Portuguese Labour Law.
8. High skilled user with spreadsheets (Excel).
9. Knowledge of SAP Payroll system (preferable).
10. Knowledge of Netcaos’ software Tempo Real/Infonet (preferable).
11. Ability to manage work programs and meet deadlines.
12. Fluent in Portuguese & English (preferable).
