Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join our technology team.
This role is responsible for designing, maintaining, and optimizing mission-critical infrastructure environments that support business applications and services.
The successful candidate will work closely with software development teams, drive infrastructure automation initiatives, and contribute to the organization's technology roadmap.
Provide infrastructure expertise and technical support to software development teams.
Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux-based production environments.
Automate repetitive infrastructure and operational tasks to ensure consistency, scalability, and efficiency across distributed environments.
Monitor, analyze, and optimize operating system performance, particularly for low-latency applications.
Support virtualization and container-based platforms.
Participate in server deployments, data center build-outs, infrastructure upgrades, and operating system migrations.
Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools using Python, Shell, or similar technologies.
Ensure the reliability, availability, security, and performance of production infrastructure.
Research emerging technologies and industry trends, providing recommendations and contributing to the company's technology roadmap.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational processes and infrastructure standards.
Qualifications Hands-on experience with Linux system administration, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and/or SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) .
Strong understanding of operating system performance tuning for low-latency applications.
Experience with virtualization and container technologies.
Experience supporting server hardware, data center deployments, and operating system migrations.
Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Shell scripting, or similar languages.
Proven track record of supporting mission-critical server infrastructure in production environments.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, highly available production environment.
