Your Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
1. Ensuring Month-end closing activities
2. Timely execution of balance sheet accounts reconciliation on a monthly basis
3. Managing Profit/Loss accounting activities, delivering accurate monthly financial results
4. Applying accounting standards and practices
5. Completing accurate monthly balance sheet reconciliations, providing explanations for movements
6. Reviewing and processing accrual and prepayment journals – supporting financial report/billing transactions
7. Supporting internal and external audits
8. Updating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures
9. Identifying process harmonization and improvement opportunities
10. Supporting the integration of new team members by delivering complete knowledge transfer
Requirements to Succeed
To excel in this role, you will need:
* Accountancy qualification
* Comfortable using Excel
* Fluency in English
* A proven track record of achieving KPIs
* The ability to deliver to strict guidelines and tight deadlines
* The ability to adapt to changes and strive for quality and continuous improvement
* The ability to work under pressure
* Good analytical and organization skills
* A proactive, responsive, and action-oriented approach
