IT Monitoring Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
* Monitoring and Incident Management:
o Oversee infrastructure, networks, and applications using tools like Dynatrace and LogicMonitor.
o Respond to automated alerts, prioritise incidents, and ensure timely resolutions.
o Work with internal teams and external providers to manage and escalate issues.
* Collaboration and Reporting:
o Liaise with product teams to investigate service events and drive improvements.
o Produce and manage daily/weekly operational checklists and reports.
* Process Development:
o Follow ITIL-aligned processes (e.g., incident, problem, configuration, and change management).
o Contribute to ongoing automation initiatives to enhance efficiency.
* Customer Focus:
o Provide exceptional service to internal stakeholders, maintaining clear and effective communication via email and phone.
About You:
This role is perfect for someone with a service desk or technical support background who is eager to develop their infrastructure and networking skills.
Requirements:
* 3-5 years in IT support, ideally with exposure to infrastructure and network monitoring.
* Proficiency with monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, LogicMonitor) and incident management processes.
* Excellent prioritisation, problem-solving, and escalation skills.
* Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal.
* A proactive mindset and a desire to learn and grow.
