The Medical Science Liaison Manager will help create Portugal's long and short-term plan to develop the medical cannabis utilization among patients and contribute to a sustainable market introduction.
The MSL will work closely with the Commercial Team to develop a physician network within the territory that will help increase patient adoption.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with commercial leaders to develop attainable goals and actions.
* Generate awareness around Medical Cannabis and its availability in the territory.
* Engage healthcare professionals and KOLs in the identified indications to create awareness and receive relevant and useful feedback.
* Educate healthcare professionals on medical cannabis and its many potential health benefits.
* Collaborate with scientific associations and HC organizations to increase awareness around medical cannabis.
* Speak with influential healthcare organizations and associations to leverage knowledge.
* Collaborate with hospital and clinic directors to disseminate key relevant scientific messages wider and more efficiently.
* Monitor the scientific trend of medical cannabis in the country and related competitor activities.
* Understand and provide insights and recommend new opportunities to increase patient population.
* Attend and contribute to the organization of Tilray sponsorship of industry trade shows, conferences, conventions, and other professional events as needed on a calculated basis.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
* 5+ years of MSL experience in pharmaceuticals.
* Healthcare degree - Masters preferred.
* Demonstrated ability to create a successful network.
* Passionate and basic knowledge of medical cannabis and its potential benefits.
* Ability to drive and manage growth in an emerging market.
* Effective communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to initiate change and manage varying priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Demonstrable success in pharmaceutical products and/or pharmaceutical companies focused on the wants and needs of consumers.
