Agriculturehas a set of European Union funds, called PEPAC, which allow supporting the sector in two models, investment support and direct support (FEADER and FEAGA).
Our client wants tobuild a new system that supports the entire life cycle of the management of these funds, from the opening of notices, to the submission of applications, their analysis, decision and finally sending to the paying agency. The goal is to create a multi-fund, multi-program, multi-managing entity system, allowing the entire management of PEPAC mainland, Azores and Madeira.
You will have the opportunity to define the architecture and create from scratch a robust, accessible, reliable and safe system with the most current development technologies and methodologies(PHP 8.2, Symfony, MySQL, Nginx, GIT), to support the management of a structural fund of extreme importance not only for the economy but also for the development of the country. Responsibilities:
* Lead the PHP development team technically.
* Manage the task development lifecycle, from planning to execution and delivery.
* Review and approve Pull Requests (PRs).
* Perform deployments for testing and production.
* Ensure code quality and adherence to best development practices.
* Collaborate closely with the Analysts team.
Required Competences:
* Experience in PHP and Symfony frameworks (minimum of 5 years).
* Experience in team leadership (minimum of 3 years).
* Experience with version control systems using GIT and Bitbucket.
* Knowledge of deployment pipelines.
* Knowledge of server management and production environments.
* Availability for hybrid model (3X week at our client in Lisbon).
Preferred Competencies:
* Microservices, Docker, Linux (Debian/Ubuntu), Composer (PHP), PHPUnit, Yarn, HTML5, CSS3 (SASS).
* Experience in JavaScript, experience in jQuery library and/or Vue.JS framework is valued.
