PwC Services Portugal (PSP) is a joint venture between PwC Luxembourg and PwC Portugal, serving as an integral extension of PwC Luxembourg. Our growing team operates as an acceleration center supporting PwC Luxembourg's clients. Leveraging a unique pool of talented professionals based in Matosinhos, our operating model ensures scalability, consistency, and quality in service delivery by integrating seamlessly into PwC Luxembourg's operations and addressing talent attraction challenges sustainably.
PSP provides a range of services, including Assurance Audit (spanning all industries, with a particular focus on Real Estate and Private Equity), Broader Assurance Services, Tax (including Managed Services, Corporate Tax, VAT, and Accounting), and Advisory (specializing in the Global Fund Industry and Real Estate Valuation).
Be a part of our team of solvers where you will (specific responsibilities include but are not limited to):
* Perform and carry out valuation analysis and reviews of a wide spectrum of assets (Private Equity, Private Debt; Infrastructure assets, as well as Intangible assets);
* Assess the reasonableness of valuations and financial models in the context of financial reporting and assurance related engagements;
* Have the opportunity for exposure to advisory engagements across the Alternatives industry such as valuation, process implementation and review, data analytics and benchmarking;

About
Let's talk about you. If you are/have …
* 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role;
* Advanced theoretical and practical knowledge of valuation principles and techniques (income, market, and asset based approach) with regards to business valuation;
* Strong analytical skills, problem solver, detail-oriented, entrepreneurial, autonomous and enjoying working in a multi-cultural environment;
* Ability to research and analyse pertinent client, industry, and financial matters, while demonstrating strong technical and analytical skills;
* Being flexible when adapting to changing client needs and market conditions;
* Ability to manage multiple threads of tasks and / or engagements;
* Proven ability to mentor and guide junior team members, and contribute to a collaborative team environment;
* Sound knowledge of recognized valuation guidelines, such as IPEV guidelines or IVS;
* Sound knowledge of industry software's and tools (i.e. Bloomberg, S&P CapIQ, and/or advanced Excel modelling);
* Knowledge of option pricing models;
* Fluency in English, both written and verbally.
