About the role
As an essential part of the Regional Air Operations team for APAC, this role acts as the focal point for the regional airfreight team in communicating, analysing and aligning data reporting, as well as working on various initiatives to achieve business goals.
What you will be doing
* Work on data driven projects not limited to (freight optimisation simulations, cost/yield management, customer profitability, consolidation cost benefits, dim ratio optimisation, productivity management, trade/route development support)
* Drive adherence to accurate and on-time data submission by the respective data owners (Operations, Finance, HSE, HR, IT, BD & Sales, etc.)
* Proactively analyse the various reports/ dashboards to identify areas of improvement
* Support the APAC Air Leader in consolidating & presenting operational KPI and financial data from various contracts across the Asia Pacific region
* Develop and maintain presentation decks, reports, BI dashboards (focused on airline, customers, regional & country performance etc.)
* Internal business support for MBR (Monthly Business Reviews), budget preparation, customer meetings, etc.
* Market intelligence and vendor management (IATA – CargoIS report, Accenture)
* Regional business support and synchronisation (Market updates, airline contracts, MBR support)
* Create and update publication of APAC Air Freight market updates to the network.
The successful candidate
Essential
* At least a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or other related fields
* Prior business analysis & project management experience
* Excellent business data reporting skills (Power BI, Power Query)
* High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Powerpoint, Excel)
* Well-organised
* Good command of English both written and spoken
* Effective communicator at all levels
* Team player with experience in cross functional collaboration and support
Desirable
* Well versed in project management methodology (CPM/Prince II/PMBOK)
