1. Role: Software Asset Manager
Job Description:
The objective of the SAM (Software Asset Management) activity is to ensure
2. the software compliance: no more usages than licences purchased
3. and optimization: close monitoring of unused licences
Main tasks:
4. Understand the Group governance and rules for SAM activity and ensure its deploymentEnforce the rulesDraft or contribute to draft any procedure or documentation for awareness purpose
5. Collect evidences of software usagesfor Group inventories (Group contracts)by launching local inventories (Contracts signed by WM GAIM CIO)
6. Collect evidences of purchaseContracts and amendment or Purchase Order and related invoicesMaintenance payment
7. Be the first point of contact for WM GAIM purchases when liaising with Group Procurement or any Group reseller
8. Follow up the action plans to ensure the software compliance or optimization: uninstallation, transfer or purchaseLiaise with the teams in charge and ensure to raise any alert on time to management
9. Update the related documentation:Global follow up of usages versus purchases and maintenance paymentActions plansDocumentation per software (metric, purchase rules, specificities and attention points)Post inventories’ summary
10. Provide the right level of reporting
11. Keep the Contract Management & SAM Team Leader informed of the SAM activity with a relevant summary and raise any attention point
12. Prepare the SAM reporting for WM GAIM management (Synthetic view, attention points and statistics)
13. Provide on request any information about WM GAIM software usages, purchase or rules to be applied
Languge Skills:
14. English - Expert
Technical Skills:
15. At least 12 years of experience in IT
16. Experience in Software Asset Management (at least 3 years)
17. ITIL certification
Soft Skills:
18. Extensive experience working in a multi-cultural environment and remote teams
19. Coordination skills and ability to respect a defined scope and time frame
20. Detail oriented, analytical and inquisitive
21. Extremely organized with strong time-management skills
