SUMMARY OF POSITION The position will manage the relationship with Adalvo CMO Partners from a commercial perspective - lead contract and price negotiations to achieve the best price and value. The person will be the main contact point with the third-party suppliers up to dossier delivery stage and later on for all cost-related topics. Monitor supplier performance by gathering feedback from all relevant departments, review and set improvement plans and future initiatives for CMOs.
ORGANIZATION STRUCTURE This role will report directly to the Head of Supplier Relationship Management.
RESPONSIBILITIES Primary responsibilities of this role include the following:
Coordinate early-stage Supply Chain Setup.Work with external third parties to assess partnerships.Oversee the breakdown and in-depth analysis of Cost of Goods (COGS), negotiate terms and conditions with CMOs, ensuring favorable agreements that align with the company's financial and operational goals.Drive COGS reduction initiatives.Identify and implement opportunities to optimize COGS, contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.Utilize Salesforce, SAP, and other relevant tools to monitor and manage COGS data effectively.Draft, review, and negotiate supply contracts with CMOs, ensuring terms are clear, legally sound, and aligned with company policies.Work closely with PM, R&D, BD, Portfolio, and support to ensure business case and supply capabilities on defined Supply Chain.Act as an escalation point for the Business and Supplier in the event of concerns, ensuring coordination of resolving parties, effective communication to stakeholders and post-incident review.Drive improvements to existing products and business ventures.Identify opportunities to drive value and improve performance of existing and potential suppliers.Define what to solve according to the market needs, articulating the valuable market problem you're solving along with priorities and justification for each part of the solution.Seek ways to improve innovation in processes, reduce costs, manage and reduce risk, and stimulate performance improvement.Serve as the primary point of contact for CMOs regarding COGS-related matters.Manage Business Reviews with Partners covering performance, service improvements, quality, and processes.Traveling is required.QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS Fluency in English.Proficiency in Excel.Excellent analytical skills.Ability to understand global business processes and identify the impact of change.Experience and understanding of legal documentation (vendor/customer agreements).Experience in the Pharma industry is a must.Experience of managing supply chain relationships for a minimum of 3 years.CORE COMPETENCIES Self-Driven.Capable of working in a highly entrepreneurial environment.Results-driven, responsible, with strong commitment to contributing to the success of the business.Excellent organizational skills and passion for process management and continuous improvement.Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.Able to multitask and prioritize workload."Can do" attitude with a desire to be a team player and ability to build strong partnerships with the Business and Suppliers to drive value.Passion for supporting change.Work collaboratively both within the operations team and with other central functions, including finance, legal, IP, Quality, RA.A continuous improvement approach and mindset.Exciting Challenges: Every day brings new opportunities to learn and grow.
