We are looking for a Digital Collaboration Engineer (Voice & VTC) who is willing to relocate to join our Client's team in Mons, Belgium.
Eligibility: Candidate must currently reside in the EU.
Portuguese Citizenship is mandatory.
Candidate must be prepared to obtain EU Clearance after accepting the job offer.
Key Responsibilities Perform service continuity improvement tasks on NATO voice and VTC infrastructures.
Support innovation efforts for enhancing voice and video conferencing technologies.
Collaborate with the project management team and provide technical support for projects aimed at upgrading infrastructure and services.
Plan, test, and execute configuration and maintenance tasks within the voice and VTC domains.
Support maintenance activities and infrastructure deployments during non-business hours as needed.
Coordinate and manage Change Requests (CRQs) and Authorized Service Interruptions (ASIs).
Create and maintain technical documentation, including configuration baselines, engineering reports, and network diagrams.
Mentor and train team members on new voice and VTC technologies or features.
Investigate and propose long-term solutions for equipment and configuration issues.
Provide third-level support for operations, including both static and deployable voice and VTC infrastructures.
Deputize for higher-level staff when required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and at least 2 years of post-related experience.
Alternatively, at least 6 years of progressive experience in duties related to the role in the absence of a university degree.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing collaboration tools within an organization's digital ecosystem.
Proven experience with the deployment and configuration of communication and collaboration software (e.g., video conferencing systems and team messaging platforms).
Solid experience in operating Voice and VTC systems, including configuring security features (TLS, PKI, IPSec).
In-depth knowledge of SIP, H.323, and PSTN signaling protocols.
Proficiency in troubleshooting complex IP network issues related to QoS and other technical challenges.
Working knowledge of virtualization, cloud technologies, and end-user support.
Certified ITIL Foundation.
Desirable Qualifications Experience with collaboration tools from top vendors like Cisco, Poly, and Pexip.
Cisco Certified Network Professional Collaboration (CCNP Collaboration).
Hands-on experience with monitoring tools like CA Spectrum, nGenius One, SNMPv3, and Syslog.
Familiarity with Python scripting and regular expressions.
Experience with cloud-based collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and Cisco Webex.
Strong communication and negotiation skills for engaging with various stakeholders across an organization.
Prior experience in international, military, or civilian environments.
Knowledge of NATO responsibilities and structure, specifically Allied Command Operations and Allied Command Transformation.
