Head of People & Culture at ABP Consultancy

The Head of People & Culture role is part of our dynamic and coordinated Human Resources function delivering operational HR specialist services for the entire ABP group.
The role will work with internal and external partners to ensure processes are performed in accordance with performance and quality standards.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Maintain, process and produce month/year-end close processes, balance sheet reconciliations, journals and associated underlying schedules.
2. Support the preparation and review of period close entries, and general ledger accounts reconciliation and analysis.
3. Prepare and review statutory accounts and financial statements.
4. Resolve intercompany disputes and perform intercompany reconciliations.
5. Produce and review balance sheets.
6. Maintain the fixed assets register.
7. Support audit requests from local auditors.
8. Ensure compliance with controls and other internal controls requirements.
9. Manage knowledge and documentation to ensure managers and staff always have access to current and compliant documents and guidance.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in Human Resources or a related field.
* Experience of developing and implementing HR strategies and policies.
* Strong technical knowledge of employment law and regulations.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
* Self-motivated, with a strong attention to detail and a passion for problem-solving.
