Job Title: General Ledger and AP Supervisor
The ideal candidate will work with a multinational company specializing in medical device solutions, providing advanced products, personalized services, and technical support.
Responsibilities:
* Lead Financial Closures: Oversee the AP team and ensure timely and accurate submissions to Corporate via HFM.
* Manage Payments: Guarantee timely and precise payments while partnering closely with the treasury team.
* Drive Ledger Accuracy: Conduct regular ledger closings, manage monthly accruals, deferred costs, and ensure accurate manual journal entries.
* Prepare Financial Statements: Create and validate balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports, analyzing variances and identifying key insights.
* Cross-Department Collaboration: Act as a strategic interface between departments to streamline processes and improve financial operations.
* Fixed Asset Management: Oversee fixed assets, ensuring accurate reconciliation between the Trial Balance and fixed assets module.
* Ensure Policy Compliance: Develop and maintain robust processes and procedures to ensure alignment with organizational policies.
* Audit and Compliance Expertise: Provide support during financial statement audits, leveraging knowledge of audit and accounting compliance.
* Local Statutory Expertise: Assist in the preparation of local statutory accounts and accompanying financial statement notes.
* Tax Expertise: Stay ahead of tax regulations, seeking efficiencies while ensuring compliance.
Requirements:
* Degree in finance, accounting, or similar field.
* Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in an accounting role.
* Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Effective communication skills.
* Accurate working-method and ability to meet deadlines.
* Extensive financial analytical skills and business acumen.
* High level of English proficiency.
* Knowledge of Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and Oracle Fusion ERP.
* Independent judgment with strong analytical skills.
* Able to build strong partnerships with all areas of the business.
