About the Role
Join Orica's EMEA operations team as a Project Delivery Supervisor. This exciting opportunity will have you facilitate and execute projects with designers, contractors, site supervisors, and senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Implement projects using the ORICA project execution manual and PMBOK best practices from design to commissioning.
* Prepare and coordinate engineering projects, including estimates, schedules, and vendor quotes.
* Monitor compliance to codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications.
* Interact with clients to interpret their needs and provide support in the field.
* Perform quality control of work and report on project status.
* Punch list preparation and follow-up on projects close-out.
* Effective communication and collaboration with project teams and stakeholders.
* Review engineering deliverables and initiate corrective actions.
* Stakeholder engagement and management.
Requirements
* 5 years of experience in project management or asset care and operational experience in the mining drill and blast environment.
* Knowledge of relevant engineering processes, including electrical reticulation, earthing systems, bulk explosive delivery vehicles, and manufacturing plants.
* Attention to detail and effective communication skills.
* IT software skills and technical qualification in mechanical, electrical, mining, or chemical engineering.
* Registered PMP or CAPM certification is an advantage.
