Natixis in Portugal is part of the Global Financial Services division, where it applies technology for the development of financial expertise in its two global business lines – Corporate & Investment Banking and Asset & Wealth Management – and, transversally, for the entities of Groupe BPCE.
The Centre of Expertise, based in Porto, currently has more than 2,400 employees from over 30 nationalities, organised in three main departments: Information Technology, Banking Support Activities and Compliance. Job Description
Develop efficient persistence and data access services produced by pricing environments. This data must be stored long-term and requires the implementation of "hot" data (high access performance) and "cold" data (less critical performance). These services should be accompanied by sanity checks and monitoring and supervision tools.
Develop access and update services for various parameter reference repositories for pricing, implementing audit and historical tracking of these changes.
Participate in maintaining high-quality production by ensuring compliance with best practices (adherence to procedures, impact analysis, test coverage, business validation, etc.) and proactively managing application and infrastructure incidents by following established action plans.
Manage technical debt within your scope by encouraging remediation and continuous improvement actions in agreement with business partners.

* Programming Languages:
Scala / Hive
Java / Spring / SpringBoot
SQL & NoSQL
* Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field
* 4-5 years minimum of work experience, with a preference for experience in Big Data
* Interest in API’s development
* High Proficiency in developing with Scala, Spark, Hadoop, and Hive
* Experience around Java, SpringBoot, API’s and microservices
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* English fluency, both written and spoken (French will be a plus)
