We are looking for a Deployable CIS Service Delivery Manager who is willing to relocate to join our Client's team in Brussels, Belgium. Eligibility: Candidate must currently reside in the EU.Portuguese Citizenship is mandatory.Candidate must be prepared to obtain EU Clearance after accepting the job offer. Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage the Deployable CIS infrastructure as a service to ensure system readiness, availability, and quality of engineering support in line with SLAs.Oversee Configuration Management to maintain assets at known states and ensure accurate accounting of all system configurations.Conduct risk assessments to manage obsolescence, initiating new projects under the NATO Security and Investment Programme (NSIP) when required.Develop and manage Change Management plans to address problems and uplift configuration baselines in response to operational needs.Assist the Principal Service Manager in preparing the annual Operation and Maintenance (O&M) budget submission.Ensure system documentation related to operations, maintenance, and training is updated in line with system evolution.Manage contractor resources, oversee service acceptance, and support the SLA change management process.Provide input for the Quarterly SLA report, manpower, and O&M budget estimates.Offer support to project managers during project development, delivery, and service transition phases.Take on deputy responsibilities and perform other duties as required. Essential:
Education: Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 3 years of post-related experience; alternatively, 10+ years of progressive expertise in directly related roles.Certifications: Minimum ITIL Foundation and Intermediate (e.g., Service Design, Service Transition, etc.).Proven experience in IT service engineering, planning, and operations/maintenance management.Demonstrable experience as a line manager, with strong skills as a motivator and mentor.Expertise in Configuration Management and Change Management processes and tools.Experience in contingency planning, budget preparation, and execution.Managing small-scale CIS service implementation projects and mentoring teams.Strong report writing and presentation skills.Desirable:
ITIL Expert/Managing Professional, PRINCE2 Foundation, MSP Foundation, or PMI PMP certification.Familiarity with military telecommunications and information systems (e.g., VLF to Satellite EHF).Prior experience in an international military/civilian environment.Knowledge of NATO responsibilities and organization, including ACO and ACT involvement.Membership in a recognized professional institution.Evidence of maintaining up-to-date knowledge in Information Technology.
