Responsibilities
At Straumann Group we know that the key to our growth is a high-performing sales team. The Sales Representative (f/m/d) Straumann Group is responsible for achieving maximum sales growth and account penetration within an assigned territory/group of customers. The Sales Representative (f/m/d) is to promote, sell and secure orders from existing and prospective customers for Straumann's portfolio. The ideal candidate should have a strong Dental or Consultative Sales background, have some commercial experience, be a quick learner with strong communication skills and have the ability to showcase the Straumann Group offerings in a compelling way. Every potential customer is an opportunity for you to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition rates and profitability. This position reports to the Area Sales Manager.
Manage defined accounts' geography to grow an existing business and convert new prospect accounts remotely and face to facePlan and execute a Territory Activity plan based on understanding the potential in each account in a predefined geographyUse insights and a consultative selling approach to help develop customers business; challenge them to see new business opportunities and growth areasAchieve quarterly and yearly territory sales targetsUtilise data/analytics to help identify opportunities and risksEducate customers on products to ensure the practice is clinically comfortable with the Straumann Group portfolio via platforms such as zoom/teams or within clinicKey Activities Identify, target, and convert prospect accounts and new business with dentists, surgeons, and implantologistsManage an assigned geographic sales area to maximize sales revenue and meet the country specific sales objectivesProvide excellent in person attention and develop relationships with Key Opinion Leaders to facilitate future clinical educationParticipate and carry out the implementation of new launches from Marketing and new product sales objectivesParticipate in regional and national trade showsAttend Regional and National sales and training meetingsNegotiate prices and delivery times within limits of authority, and conclude sales orders to meet revenue targetsIdentify, research, and contact prospective customers and build positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat businessTo meet and exceed sales objectives for all Straumann products over a given territory by developing profitable relationships with select dental practices and their related team members, and the dental community at largeAlternate between visiting customers in the field and using digital aids to conduct sales meetings and various presentations to achieve set goalsDevelop short- and long-term sales plans for key customers and accounts to develop the designed territoryEstablish annual, quarterly, monthly, or weekly sales plans and prioritise and schedule own activities so these targets are metCross selling due to set strategyParticipate in cross functional groups in PortugalRequired Capabilities, Skills And Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience within dental businessMinimum of 3-5 years sales experience, preferably Pharma, Medical Devices or HealthcarePrior sales experience with dentists and dental labs is an advantageExperience and proficiency in consultative selling (B2B environment)High customer and business orientationExcellent communication and presentation skillsResult oriented; capable to grow net sales and customer baseFluent in PortugueseResult-orientedDriver LicenseAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or disability.
