Job Description We are looking for an IT Service Desk Technician who is willing to relocate to join our Client's team in Brussels, Belgium.
Eligibility: Candidate must currently reside in the EU.Portuguese Citizenship is mandatory.Candidate must be prepared to obtain EU Clearance after accepting the job offer. Key Responsibilities: 1st Level ICT Support: Assist users via telephone, IT Service Management systems, email, or walk-in IT KIOSK.First Contact Resolution: Troubleshoot and promptly resolve software and hardware issues.Technical Troubleshooting:Laptops: Address VPN connectivity, Microsoft products, and business application issues.Mobile Devices: Manage MDM platforms, work applications, and device enrollment/configuration.User Access Management: Resolve account access issues effectively.Service Management Ticket Lifecycle:Oversee and manage Incident Management, Service Request Management, and Change Management & Coordination.IT Asset Management: Update and maintain IT asset records in relevant systems.Knowledge Management: Create, maintain, and use SOPs, processes, and support documentation.Continuous Service Improvement: Provide feedback to drive IT service enhancements.Independent Work: Perform tasks with minimal supervision, ensuring quality output.Other Duties: Perform additional support tasks as required. Required Qualifications: Proven 1st Level Service Desk support experience is mandatory.Educational background:**Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 2 years of related experience.OR secondary education with 4 years of related experience.Strong expertise in Microsoft desktop applications and operating systems.Familiarity with Service Desk ticketing tools (BMC Remedy preferred).Proficiency with VPN software setup and troubleshooting.Basic experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms.Fluency in English (written and spoken).
