Engineer | Aircraft Aerodynamic Analysis

This opportunity for an Engineer | Aircraft Aerodynamic Analysis (m/f/d) will be integrated into the Aeronautics team.
Responsibilities
* Develop tools/methodologies (analytical, models, etc.) to support the aerodynamic analysis process
* Perform calculation and validation steps for components/products under provided load cases
* Prepare and develop representative FE models from CAD geometries to perform CFD analysis
* Critical post-processing and reporting of analysis’ results to detect errors and apply/propose corrections
* Identify issues and propose/develop improvements to meet established requirements, targets, or to solve problems
* Provide the manager with any requested information for planning, execution, or control of technical activities such as:
o The activities’ plan definition and the reporting and tracking of project tasks’ status
o Provide work estimates and projections
o Identify goals and requirements as well as determine the most appropriate analysis for each case (analytical, numerical, mixed, etc.)
o Alert to potential problems, deviations, and needs
* Support the test and certification campaigns required to achieve aircraft certification
* Contribute towards the creation of project reports and any other relevant certification documentation
Qualifications
* MSc in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautics, Mechanics, or equivalent
* Proven experience with aerodynamic calculation tools and processes
* Previous experience with CFD tools (Ansys Fluent, Altair Acusolve), MSOffice (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), or similar
* Good programming skills in C++, Python, Fortran, and VBA
* Good knowledge of materials and production techniques
* Hands-on experience with CAD software (CATIA, Siemens Nx) is a plus
* Good interpersonal skills to work within a diverse team, in rigorous and demanding projects, where analytical and critical thinking, as well as problem-solving skills are essential
