The Role
Javá is a single venue that requires an Operations Manager (OM). This role will have full accountability for service execution, operational excellence, and team leadership. The OM will work closely with HQ leadership while ensuring day-to-day excellence on the floor.
The OM will balance venue execution with strategic responsibilities, ensuring smooth collaboration with leadership and operations.
Your Key Responsibilities
Venue Leadership & Daily Operations
Oversee Javá daily operations, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and high service standards. Maintain a strong presence on the floor, working closely with the team to guarantee seamless service and smooth execution.
Align with the Head Chef on menu execution, food quality, service timing, and kitchen workflows.
Service Excellence & Guest Experience
Foster a culture of hospitality, ensuring seamless and memorable guest experiences. Maintain and continuously improve service standards, coaching and training staff to deliver exceptional experiences.
Lead by example by actively engaging with guests and supporting the team during peak hours.
Team Leadership & Development
Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team aligned with Vida Plena's values. Set clear goals, provide continuous feedback, and promote a positive and high-energy work environment that drives motivation and excellence.
Ensure proper staffing levels, effective shift planning, and real-time adjustments to maintain service flow.
Operational Efficiency & HQ Collaboration
Implement and refine operational processes to improve efficiency and maintain high standards. Ensure clear communication between venue operations and HQ teams.
Contribute insights and feedback to optimize venue performance and guest satisfaction.
Financial Oversight & Cost Management
Monitor financial KPIs and manage budgets to optimize profitability. Identify cost-saving opportunities in inventory, labor, and operational expenses.
Support data-driven decision-making with financial analysis and reporting.
What We Expect From You
Hospitality & Leadership Experience:
8+ years in hospitality, including 3+ years in management, leading teams in high-volume environments.
Strong leadership in service and kitchen operations, ensuring seamless coordination and high standards.
Proven ability to recruit, train, and develop high-performing teams while fostering a strong hospitality culture.
Skilled in optimizing workflows, problem-solving, and maintaining efficiency in fast-paced settings.
Experience with budget management, KPIs, labor scheduling, and cost control.
Strong adaptability, quick problem-solving, and ability to lead under pressure.
