Team and Role Overview
The purpose of the CD team (Customer Delivery) is to provide business expertise to support an organization's global or domestic implementation by designing new processes, optimizing current ones, managing complex implementation projects, and providing user support and training. We are seeking a Fintech Consultant with a focus on the post-trade process to work in a customer‐facing role to drive Capital Market system implementations.
Responsibilities
1. Understanding and analysis of business requirements: identification of customer needs, analysis, and proposal of solutions
2. Functional configuration of Calypso. Parameterization of the system to meet customer and/or market needs
3. Customer service and support
4. Documentation of deliverables and requirements
5. Generation of test/QA cases
6. Interaction with other areas: Front Office/Risk, Technology, Project Managers, Presales, Sales, Engineer, and other partners
What we value
Experience working with a software vendor as a solution Designer Role in post-trade consultancy within the capital markets industry.
Technical
7. Strong knowledge and functional experience in support of one or more of the following Asset classes from an operational and post-trade perspective: Foreign Exchange (FX), Fixed Income and Money Market (FI/MM), Interest Rate Derivatives (IRD), FX Derivatives (FXD), Credit Derivatives (CRD), Equities, and Equity Derivatives (EQD), Commodities and Commodity Derivatives (CMD)
8. Post-trade processing areas of Trade validation, Cross-Asset Accounting, Settlements, Reconciliations, Messages (SWIFT/Paper), Regulatory and Internal reporting
9. Clearing, Collateral & Securities Finance
10. Knowledge of programming logic will also be considered
11. Ability to summarize complex ideas into clear and simple concepts
12. High Command of spoken and written English (Spain & Portuguese and French are desirable)
