We are expanding our operations and are looking for a visionary Regional PR & Marketing Manager to join our team. In this role, you will shape and execute our communication strategies across multiple regions, drive impactful campaigns, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure UHM is recognized as a global leader in hospitality.
Role Summary: The Regional PR & Marketing Manager will play a critical role in shaping and executing UHM’s public relations and marketing strategies. This position is ideal for a creative and results-oriented individual with a proven ability to build strong relationships, deliver impactful campaigns, and foster brand loyalty. The manager will lead regional teams, oversee marketing initiatives, and ensure alignment with UHM’s global brand strategy while tailoring approaches to local market dynamics.
Public Relations Strategy:
* Develop and implement a comprehensive regional PR strategy to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
* Cultivate and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to generate quality media coverage.
* Serve as the company’s spokesperson when needed and manage all press communications and inquiries.
* Coordinate crisis communication plans and ensure the timely management of sensitive issues to protect the brand's integrity.
* Produce engaging press releases, media kits, and other PR materials to promote the company and its properties.
* Design and oversee regional marketing campaigns that align with the company’s strategic objectives.
* Manage multi-channel campaigns, including digital, print, and experiential marketing, to target key customer segments.
* Collaborate with regional teams to ensure local marketing initiatives align with regional and global brand standards.
* Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing actionable insights to optimize results.
* Drive innovation in marketing strategies, leveraging trends and technologies to enhance brand engagement.
Content Creation & Brand Development:
* Oversee the creation of compelling content for marketing materials, including brochures, videos, newsletters, and social media.
* Develop consistent messaging frameworks to ensure a unified voice across all communication channels.
* Manage the storytelling aspects of the brand, highlighting unique property features and guest experiences.
Social Media & Digital Marketing:
* Supervise the regional social media strategy, ensuring brand consistency and maximizing engagement.
Event Management:
* Plan and execute high-profile events, including press trips, influencer collaborations, and industry trade shows.
* Represent the company at events and conferences, building strong relationships with industry stakeholders.
* Support regional teams in organizing local events and activations that align with regional strategies.
* Lead and mentor a regional team of marketing and PR professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
* Provide training and guidance to regional teams, ensuring adherence to PR and marketing best practices.
* Act as the bridge between corporate leadership and regional teams, ensuring seamless communication and execution.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in public relations, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
* Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in PR and marketing, with at least 3 years in a regional or managerial role. Proven success in managing PR and marketing strategies for property organizations, particularly in the luxury hospitality, travel, or lifestyle sectors. Extensive experience in digital marketing, social media management, and performance analysis. Strong understanding of both traditional and digital marketing landscapes.

Language Skills:
* Fluency in Portuguese and English (additional language skills are a plus, e.g., French, Spanish, etc.).
* Availability to travel frequently across the region.
