Already during the cooling process of the turbine, your responsible task begins: the fast, professional and structured disassembly of all electrical connections, measuring lines and sensors. Simultaneously, you implement all essential measures to guarantee that the equipment reassembly is finished on time and to confirm that the measurement devices operate flawless when the turbo set is put back into service. 1. As a Measurement Technician (m/f/d), you will provide worldwide service on power plant components like gas and steam turbines, generators, electrolyzers or battery storage
2. Electrical and metrological assembly and disassembly work
3. Installation and wiring of measuring devices according to drawings and wiring plans and their commissioning
4. Conduct functional tests, check the set values and perform or arrange for necessary calibrations (, for pressure switches, pressure transmitters)
5. Support during the recommissioning of turbines and generators
6. Fault diagnosis and checking of signal exchange with the control system
What You Bring (requirements) Completed education in electrical engineering, mechatronics or comparable qualification Professional experience in the field of measurement, control and regulation technology is desirable Digital competence, confident handling of relevant IT applications Good English skills in speaking and writing Very high willingness to travel - usually, you are on site for 150-180 days per year for 1-4 weeks at a time Driver's license Flexibility, unrestricted mobility, collaboration and communication skills in dealing with different countries and cultures
