Position Overview:
The Database Administrator is responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of SQL Server systems. The main goal is to ensure the security, availability and consistent performance of Intapp platforms.
What you will do:
* Configure and maintain SQL Server instances and databases
* Proactive monitoring systems health and performance
* Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability, and security
* Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time
* Provide suggestions for solutions
* On-call support in emergencies
* Perform regular maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours
* Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
* Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement
* Check and optimize SQL queries
What you will need:
* Experience working as a SQL Server DBA.
* Experience of High Availability and Disaster Recovery options for SQL Servers.
* Microsoft Azure Cloud Experience.
* Strong knowledge of SQL Server AlwaysOn.
* Performance tuning, and optimization experience.
* Experience with backups, restores, and recovery models.
* Script language knowledge (PowerShell/Python).
* Terraform usage experience.
* Experience with Windows server, including Active Directory, Windows Cluster.
* Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
* Individually motivated, and good team player.
* Good time-management skills.
* Microsoft certified SQL DBA preference.
