Position Summary

We are currently looking for a full-time Demand Planning Manager to develop the Demand Planning process for Coffee, Machines and Accessories in line with business expectations, lead a team of experienced demand planners/statisticians in order to optimize the demand planning process and tools with an End-to-End view (e.g. total delivered cost), and continuously enhance a central demand planning model which aims at strengthening the interactions between Demand planning, Finance, Commercial, Consumer Insight both in the markets and at HQ.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DEMAND PLANNING MANAGER INCLUDES…
* Ensure the End-to-End effectiveness of the Demand Planning Process:
o Demand Planners in the markets sharing and validating consensus demand plans, including commercial activities, in their market Mancom
o Demand Plan sign-off from the Market Mancom via the Market Demand Planner
o Consolidation of the Market Demand plan for arbitrage and adjustment at HQ level, in alignment with Finance and Commercial
* Provide accurate volumes for Dynamic Forecasting/Operational Plan purposes
* Provide long-term volumes for Capex planning
* Ensure a continuous improvement culture is developed and sustained
* Fully understand and implement Continuous Improvement principles as a standard way of working
* Manage and coach team for professional growth
* Identify functional experts in the markets and coordinate network activities
* Define succession plans in the team
* Ensure the right level of experience, skills and development opportunities in the Markets
* Plan workload and allocate resources, recruit people for open positions
* Manage and control department budget and costs
What Will Make You Successful
* University or Engineering degree, preferably in Statistics
* Experience of at least 5 years in one of the following areas: Demand & Supply Planning, Project Management in DSP area
* Successful project lead in at least one of the following areas: Sales, Marketing or Supply Chain development
* Knowledge in product portfolio management (type of demand, seasonality, lifecycle status, shelf-life)
* Computer literate (Excel and reporting tools such as Impromptu, Cognos any Business Intelligence)
* Experience with SAP/APO and OMP
* Good knowledge of supply chain KPIs (demand plan accuracy, stock cover, stock availability, etc.)
* Strong analytical and statistical skills
* Ability to successfully manage tradeoffs in Supply Chain
* Ideally previous experience implementing LEAN concepts and tools
* English language written and spoken
* Good analytical skills and financial understanding
* Stress resistant, hard worker and assertive.
