Mission
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented E-commerce Specialist to manage and grow our online presence in the hospitality sector. This role will focus on optimizing our direct booking channels, including the official website, and maximizing performance on Online Travel Agencies (OTAs). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the hospitality industry, digital marketing, and revenue management strategies.
Responsibilities
OTA Management:
• Manage relationships with Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) such as Booking.com, Expedia, and others.
• Optimize property listings to improve ranking and visibility.
• Monitor OTA performance metrics (e.g., ADR, RevPAR, Conversion Rate) and identify improvement opportunities.
• Implement promotional campaigns and flash sales in alignment with revenue strategies.
Direct Booking Strategy:
• Support local marketing team to drive traffic and conversions on the hotel’s official website through SEO, SEM, and UX improvements.
• Collaborate with designers and developers to maintain an engaging, user-friendly, and mobile-responsive website.
• Keep tracking competitors’ packages and offers to seek opportunities to develop similar pricing strategies and packages to encourage direct bookings.
•In the future - Work with CRM tools to implement personalized marketing campaigns and loyalty programs.
Revenue Optimization:
• Analyze pricing trends and competitors’ strategies to optimize revenue through all digital channels.
• Support the revenue management team with data-driven insights and recommendations.
Performance Analysis:
• Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), including traffic, booking conversion rates, and revenue growth by channel.
• Provide regular reports and actionable insights to the revenue and marketing teams. (Source of Business)
Collaboration and Communication:
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align e-commerce strategies with broader branding and marketing campaigns.
• Negotiate contracts and commission rates with OTA partners to optimize profitability.
Innovation and Trends:
• Stay updated on digital trends, new tools, and technologies in the hospitality and e-commerce industries.
• Suggest and implement innovative strategies to enhance guest experience and increase online revenue.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in e-commerce, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Strong understanding of OTAs, website management, and digital marketing strategies.
• Proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, PMS systems, CRM and CRS.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
