Business Development Manager, Amazon Shipping
This is a highly exciting opportunity to launch and develop a new business in the Amazon Shipping sector. We are seeking a highly driven, analytical, customer-obsessed individual to join our Business Development team in Spain.
You will be responsible for developing a strong pipeline, identifying opportunities, negotiating with external companies and closing sales, as well as collecting market segment and customer insights to improve the product and delight Amazon customers.
Responsibilities:
* Cross-functional collaboration: Work with operations, product, and tech leaders to manage programs and build products that meet customer needs.
* Business development: Bring new customers to Amazon, develop shipping package volume, ensure high conversion rates, and maintain profitability.
* Customer relationship management: Build and maintain top-level relationships with potential future strategic customers.
Key Skills:
* Analytical thinking: Measure performance, identify gaps and opportunities, and lead the team to address them.
* Data-driven decision making: Use data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
* Communication skills: Establish top-level relationships with customers and assess their needs.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
* Intermediate level Excel skills (pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, etc.).
* Fluent in English and Spanish.
* Experience in business development, including hunting new clients and building a new portfolio from scratch.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Master's degree or equivalent.
* Experience in the logistics and carrier industry.
