Professional Qualifications / ExperienceBachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).3+ years of experience in event planning, including both in-person and virtual events.Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Proficiency with event management software (Cvent, Eventbrite, Zoom, etc.) and marketing automation tools.Experience in budget management, vendor negotiations, and expense tracking.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly under pressure.Familiarity with social media platforms for event promotion.Certification in event planning (e.g., CMP – Certified Meeting Professional) is a plus.Attention to detail and ability to handle complex logistics.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.Creativity in event design and engagement strategies.Ability to analyze event performance metrics and optimize future events.Self-motivated and able to work independently while being a strong team player.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SharePoint.
