The team you will be a part of
You will be part of a new team in Cloud Platforms responsible for developing assigned piece of SW to meet the expected Definition of Done for Cloud RAN applications. You support our program planning and agile activities in the team. You are also expected to participate and be involved in other technical areas such as open-source community in the whole CP product suite. As a SW Architect, you are also able to coach others and give e.g., training when needed.
Cloud Platform Responsible for
1. Innovating, developing, productizing, delivering & maintaining the best Cloud O-RAN and Cloud RAN products to achieve a clear leadership position in Cloud Platforms and Applications
2. Successful execution of Cloud RAN Programs
3. Leverage open-source communities like OPNFV, O-RAN, OCP to achieve technology leadership
4. Achieve Business targets for CP HW and SW products
5. Productize and deliver Nokia Edge data center HW and SW solutions (AirFrame, FHGW, SEP, OCP, NEAT, NADCM, CP, NCIR) for Radio and RIC/MEC applications together with SW and HW partners and other BGs
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
As a Senior SW Engineer in new CP team, your role would include:
1. Leading the implementation of the features and ensuring successful integration of software components within own domain based on product backlogs and specifications
2. System design and architecture
3. Assessing software quality and developing test tools to increase test effectiveness and efficiency
4. Proposing and leading internal improvement projects, initiatives and task forces if needed
5. Contributing to the evolution of internal processes with target for continuous efficiency increase of development teams
Although a combination of Cellular system knowledge, Cloud computing & infrastructure knowledge, as well as software development, is highly appreciated, we encourage you to apply if you have good skills, knowledge, and interest in any of the areas mentioned above. Key Skills And Experience

You have:
1. You have 5+ years of experience in SW development/Testing
2. You have demonstrated industry experience in the areas of software development
3. You understand the significance of good SW practices for high-quality SW
4. You know the benefits of agile SW development and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery practices
5. You have strong experience in C++, Golang: development and testing
6. Experience with LINUX - Experience in scripting/coding with one or more languages (such as Python, Golang,…)
7. Knowledge of processor architectures, embedded systems, and real-time systems
8. Understanding of the cloud runtime environments and bare metal runtime environments of embedded systems
9. Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) cloud-native characteristics, including Kubernetes
10. Strong understanding of Cloud Infrastructure software (such as RedHat, AWS, AZURE, GCP, ...)
11. Experience in wireless protocols, especially LTE and NR
It would be nice if you also had:
1. Experience of open-source software
